Scope

A set of hand-painted FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) relief panels depicting devotional and mythological scenes — acharyas carrying deities, Krishna-Sudama and Krishna-in-Vrindavan scenes, a sankirtan procession, and a multi-armed goddess panel — produced for ISKCON.

Challenge

Each panel needed to combine sculptural relief work with detailed hand-painting to accurately depict specific devotional subjects and figures, executed to a finish quality suitable for a temple setting.

Solution

Panels were sculpted in FRP for durability and detail, then hand-painted with layered colour and shading to bring depth and realism to each figure and scene.

Execution

Photos below are from the workshop production stage, showing the panels' painted finish ahead of final delivery and installation.

Result

The completed panels were delivered with the sculptural relief and hand-painted finish carried through on every scene.
